Featured Story: Plans for Indoor Waterpark in Fairport Harbor Remain on Table
July 24, 2017 - If the journey toward bringing a hotel/indoor waterpark to Fairport Harbor Village is one of 1,000 steps, its organizers are about eight-tenths of a percent there, one authority said Monday.
“We’ve been saying all along that we’re at step six of 1,000,” said Peter Zahirsky, director of coastal development with the Lake County Ohio Port and Economic Authority.
The last big step toward making the plan a reality happened in June, when Lake County Commissioners approved the purchase of land in Fairport Harbor relative to the project. (Read More)
